Warm-Up Escapades! We focused on how to work coordinating conjunctions with independent clauses to form compound sentences today. Onward from there we went to our research topics. Questions were generated among like groups and were chronoligically placed, then put on the board for viewing. What we looked for were ways to fine tune the questions prior to research and to see if the order of the questions was good or to see if the questions needed to be reworked in any way. Fourth period got the benefit of having all their questions looked at, but fifth had difficulty working quietly enough in groups to allow for such extra time. The research paper handout was distributed.
