Today... was fun! (Okay, at least for me!) We looked up words from the Emerson and Thoreau readings. Everyone took a word and made a prediction, looked up the definition, found a synonym, made a sentence for the word, put a small picture on the sentence strip, and then acted out the word! My applause to you all! It was worth it!
Homework: Read and annotate both Emerson and Thoreau.
