Today we started by working on "Sentences as Steriods" for a warm-up. From there we went to House on Mango Street. We read through "Hairs," "Boys & Girls," and "Cathy Queen of Cats." We did the same technique as yesterday as far as what we wrote about, looked for, and what memories we have based on the vignette.

Homework: Choose one of the following options -

• Descrition of a place you've lived,
• Memory connected with a smell,
• How boys and girls live in "seperate worlds,"
• Sibling story.

Write a full page of descriptive, edited, and carefully read work.
