Today we opened with writing time to write the answers to the questions from the previous day. Those questions are in red on the March 2, 2009 posting. After students had a chance to put their thoughts on paper, we had a round of discussions on how the short storiy is different, as well as alike, to journal entries. After this discussion, the students wrote a topic sentence for paragraph V on thier outline.
Homework: Write a short story of between one & two pages relating the story to Nature. There MUST be a connection to nature!
