Today we did our typical sentence on steroids, followed by the next three chapters in House on Mango Street.  For "Meme Ortiz," the question that we discussed was "What kind of a guy is Meme?"  For "Louie, His Cousin & His Other Cousin," we focused on describing each of the three characters in the title-Louie, Marin, and their cousin.  We followed this with a discussion on what we learn about each of them.   

Homework:  Write about one of these topics -

1. Crazy or unusual neighbor
2. Bike story
3. Thought sharing story
4. Something magical in a store

As always, make it a 1 page minimum, use paragraphs, be detailed and descriptive, and reread & edit your paper.
