Today's S.O.S. was "Writing is fun." We took the sentence and added another dimension to it. We added information, then switched our papers with another person who also added to our sentence. From here we finished our discussion on "Hips," followed by the group teaching on the vignette "Papa Who Wakes Up Tired in the Dark."

Homework:
"The First Job"
1. Write about your first job,
2. Then read "The First Job,"
3. Find a minimum of 2 pieces of figurative language,
4. and try to make an additional connection. (If you can't make an additional connection, don't worry about it.)
