Today started with a warm-up on subjects/predicates. From here we had a reading quiz on Reading One, which dealt with Melinda and her friend Rachel/Rachelle, followed by a discussion of the quiz. The symbolism that is in this book was brought up when we discussed such issues as the teachers' names, the mascot names, etc. We finished our class today with work on our Coat-of-Arms assignment.
