Today we did an SOS for the sentence, "Students continued to sneeze."

Our three vignettes were:
"Sally" - "What are the two sides of Sally?"
"Minerva Who Writes Poems" - "What kind of man is Minerva's husband?"
& 4th periods group presenting "Bums in the Attic" with the question of "Why is Esperanza willing to give bums a place to stay?"
while 5th period's group asked, "How does Esperanza feel about letting the homeless stay in her house?"

Fifth period's group presented us with a final question of "What would you do if you were in Esperanza's place? I had students write about this in their dialectical journals because the conversation went all over the room. Great question!


Homework: Personal Narrative #7 (1 page minimum, use paragraphs, be detailed & descriptive, reread & edit, use metaphors, similes, personification, etc.)
